The Midland Valley Mustangs volleyball team (Graniteville, SC), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC)

The Bruins (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Tigers enter the AAA Region 5 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Swansea defeated Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Midland Valley will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Thoroughbreds enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC).
