    In Saturday's non-league contest, the Ness City Eagles (Ness City, KS) volleyball squad edged the visiting Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS), by a margin of 2-1.

    Next up, the Eagles battle the Victoria Knights (Victoria, KS) in a Central Prairie contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Ness City will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Northern Valley (Almena, KS).

    With the loss, Wichita County drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Sublette (Sublette, KS) to battle the Larks in a Hi-Plains contest on Tuesday, September 20. The Larks come into the contest with a record of 3-4.
