The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) and the visiting Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA), saw Perry's volleyball squad beat Westside by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Perry upgrades its record to 14-20 on the year. The Panthers host Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Braves in a 4A Area 1 bout on Saturday, September 17. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Baldwin lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Shaw (Columbus, GA)
The Seminoles now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Howard for a 4A Area 1 bout on Tuesday, September 20. Westside will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hardaway (Columbus, GA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-8.
