The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Potter Valley (Potter Valley, CA). The Bearcats enter the North Central III challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Potter Valley defeated Laytonville (Laytonville, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cubs encounter the Hayfork Timberjacks (Hayfork, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 19. South Fork will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Timberjacks enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA).
