In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Ursuline Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the St. Louis Catholic Saints.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
Next, the Saints encounter the Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA) in a Division III District 2 battle, on Tuesday, September 20. St. Louis Catholic will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the test with a 15-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA).
