The Tallwood Lions volleyball team (Virginia Beach, VA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA)

The Tornadoes (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA). The Ospreys come into the VACA challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy went down by Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Tallwood will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Salem (Virginia Beach, VA).
