Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) and the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), observed Edison's volleyball team top Mount Vernon by a tally of 3-1.

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Hawks enter the National contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Hayfield beat Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Majors meet the Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA) in a National contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Atoms enter the contest with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Lewis (Springfield, VA).
