With the win, Escalon improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Cougars host Sierra (Manteca, CA) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Timberwolves go into the test with a record of 6-7. Sierra won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA)

The Huskies now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sonora for a test on Thursday, September 19. Hughson will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Hilmar (Hilmar, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-1.
