The Chugiak Mustangs got by the host Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds flag football team by a score of 13-12 in Tuesday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Chugiak will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 19-0 league loss to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
The Thunderbirds (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines go into the Cook Inlet challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, South Anchorage nipped West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 19-0, in a league challenge.
