Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY), 8-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Monroe-Woodbury advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY) to clash with the Goldbacks in a non-league test on Friday, September 27. The Goldbacks come into the test with a record of 0-3.

The Tigers now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rhinebeck for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Kingston will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 1-3.
