Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Columbia moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Blue Devils host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY) to battle the Spartans in a Suburban Council- Blue battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 19. Averill Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Sawyers enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY).
