The Bassett Bengals topped the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bengals confront the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 19. Bassett will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 7-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Morehead gained a win over North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
