In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Mt. Diablo Red Devils.

The Ugly Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA). The Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Ygnacio Valley beat Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils meet the Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Mt. Diablo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, CA).
