In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Surry Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Surry Central Golden Eagles.
The Cardinals (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, North Wilkes was beaten by North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Surry Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
