In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Madison County Mountaineers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Luray Bulldogs.
The Mountaineers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA). The Generals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Stonewall Jackson lost by Strasburg (Strasburg, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Luray will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Page County (Shenandoah, VA).
