Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL) and the host Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL), saw Collinsville's soccer squad triumph over Alton by a count of 7-0.

The Kahoks (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers enter the Southwestern battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Belleville East was overwhelmed by Granite City (Granite City, IL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Redbirds battle the O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) in a Southwestern battle, on Thursday, September 19. Alton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
