With the triumph, Oakwood/Catlin advances its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Comets host Clifton Central (Clifton, IL) to clash with the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Comets come into the test with a record of 4-5. Clifton Central lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Momence (Momence, IL)

The Blue Devils now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iroquois West for a Vermilion Valley test on Thursday, September 19. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 4-4 league Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-8.
