Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) and the host Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL), saw Plano's soccer squad knock off Coal City by a count of 3-1.

The Reapers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Skyhawks enter the Kishwaukee River battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Johnsburg by Marengo (Marengo, IL), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Coalers battle the Manteno Panthers (Manteno, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight battle, on Thursday, September 19. Coal City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 7-0 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Beecher (Beecher, IL).
