The McGuffey Highlanders edged the host East Allegheny Wild Cats soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Highlanders face the South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) in a WPIAL AA 3 game, on Thursday, September 19. McGuffey will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
The Wild Cats (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL AA 3 game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Ligonier Valley was nipped by Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA), 5-2, in a league game.
