Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Volcano Vista moves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to meet the Panthers in a 5A District 1 test on Wednesday, September 25. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-2.

The Huskies now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Farmington for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Hope Christian will meet a Scorpions team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-6.
