Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV), 4-3 in a league test.

With the triumph, Jefferson advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to clash with the Applemen in a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, September 24. The Applemen come into the test with a record of 1-4.

The Bulldogs now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. James for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Martinsburg will clash with a Saints team coming off a 1-1 non-league Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Saints record now stands at 7-3.
