With the triumph, St. Cloud Cathedral advances its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders host St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN) to clash with the Johnnies in a Class A Section 8 test on Thursday, September 19. The Johnnies come into the test with a record of 3-3. St. John's Prep won 5-3 in their recent league test against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN)

The Lakers now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Little Falls for a Class A Section 8 test on Thursday, September 19. Minnewaska Area will clash with a Flyers team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MN). The Flyers record now stands at 2-5.
