Virginia High School Soccer - Potomac School nudges Sidwell Friends

September 17, 2024: McLean, VA 22101

The Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) soccer nipped the visiting Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Panthers now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Episcopal for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 20. Potomac School will encounter a Maroon squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Maroon record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Sidwell Friends moves to 2-4 on the year. The Quakers travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to encounter the Huskies in a MAC challenge on Thursday, September 19. The Huskies go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Flint Hill 1-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. James (Hagerstown, MD)
