Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), 11-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, Peach County improves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 18. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 7-9. Crawford County lost 6-3 in their recent league game against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)

The Bearcats now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cairo for a 3A Region 1 game on Thursday, September 19. Bainbridge will clash with a Syrupmakers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA). The Syrupmakers record now stands at 9-6.
