In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Bowdon Red Devils softball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Trion Bulldogs.
The Red Devils (11-6) will now prepare for their match against Darlington (Rome, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-14 record. In their last match, Darlington by Temple (Temple, GA), 12-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 7 match, on Thursday, September 19. Trion will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Red Devils go into the match with a 12-6 record after their 17-7 non-league win over Darlington (Rome, GA).
