Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, CO) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO), 14-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Brighton improves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Riverdale Ridge (Thornton, CO) to play the Ravens in a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain game on Thursday, September 19. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 7-4. Riverdale Ridge won 12-0 in their recent league game against Westminster (Westminster, CO)

The Thunderhawks now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Mountain Range for a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain game on Thursday, September 19. Prairie View will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Northglenn (Northglenn, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.
