With the triumph, McEachern improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Hawks in a 6A Region 3 game on Thursday, September 19. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 14-7. Hillgrove won 9-3 in their recent non-league game against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA)

The Spartans now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Harrison for a 6A Region 3 game on Thursday, September 19. Campbell will play a Hoyas squad coming off a 14-1 league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA). The Hoyas record now stands at 18-4.
