The Clinch County Panthers softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Charlton County Indians to 3 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fitzgerald for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 18. Clinch County will confront a Purple Hurricane team coming off a 18-13 non-league win over Echols County (Statenville, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 3-16.

With the loss, Charlton County moves to 6-8 on the season. The Indians host Echols County (Statenville, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a 1A D-II Region 2 battle on Thursday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 4-10. Echols County won 23-7 in their recent league battle against Turner County (Ashburn, GA)
