In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Stillwater Pioneers softball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Norman North Timberwolves.
The Pioneers (11-12) will now prepare for their match against Enid (Enid, OK). The Plainsmen go into the non-league match with a 19-4 record. In their last match, Enid tipped Alva (Alva, OK), 1-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Broken Bow Savages (Broken Bow, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 19. Norman North will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Savages go into the match with a 16-6 record after their 9-6 league loss to Poteau (Poteau, OK).
