Next, the Gamecocks clash with the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 19. Screven County will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 13-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA).

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 3 test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Jenkins County was routed by Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 10-3, in a league test.
