Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA), 9-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Toombs County upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA) to play the Raiders in a 1A D-I Region 3 game on Thursday, September 19. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 10-7.

The Indians now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to East Laurens for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 18. Vidalia will play a Falcons squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Bleckley County (Cochran, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 14-4.
