In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Central Chargers.
The Gryphons (13-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Red Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 15-10 record. In their last challenge, Jackson was beaten by Morgan County (Madison, GA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Chargers meet the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
