North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alleghany over Mount Airy

September 17, 2024: Mount Airy, NC 27030

The Alleghany Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mount Airy Granite Bears to 1 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Stokes for a Northwest 1A outing on Thursday, September 19. Alleghany will play a Sauras team coming off a 3-2 league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Sauras record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Mount Airy drops to 3-10 on the campaign. The Granite bears travel to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to play the Cardinals in a Northwest 1A outing on Thursday, September 19. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 4-9. East Wilkes won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Starmount (Boonville, NC)
