The Tascosa Rebels volleyball squad (Amarillo, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX)

With the win, Amarillo improves its record to 24-6 on the season. The Sandies travel to Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to encounter the Plainsmen in a 5A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, September 20. The Plainsmen go into the battle with a record of 16-14. Monterey lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Liberty (Lubbock, TX)

The Rebels now own a 22-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lubbock-Cooper for a 5A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, September 20. Tascosa will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 21-9.
