In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Jefferson County North Chargers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Atchison County Tigers.

The Chargers (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ Prep Academy (Lenexa, KS). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Christ Prep Academy got by Center Place (Independence, MO), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Oskaloosa Bears (Oskaloosa, KS) in a Northeast Kansas League challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Atchison County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 0-0 league Horton (Horton, KS).
