In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Balmorhea Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sierra Blanca Vaqueros.

The Bears (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Marathon (Marathon, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Marathon beat Balmorhea (Balmorhea, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vaqueros meet the Dell City Cougars (Dell City, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 28. Sierra Blanca will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Jesus Chapel (El Paso, TX).
