The Bassett Bengals topped the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Bengals confront the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) in a Piedmont game, on Thursday, September 19. Bassett will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).

The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets go into the Piedmont game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Halifax County gained a win over George Washington (Danville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
