Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Bauxite Miners (Bauxite, AR) and the host Robinson Senators (Little Rock, AR), observed Bauxite's volleyball team hold off Robinson by a count of 3-2.

The Miners (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR). The Bruins enter the 4A 5 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Pulaski Academy was tipped by Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Senators meet the Lisa Academy Jaguars (Little Rock, AR) in a 4A 5 contest, on Thursday, September 19. Robinson will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR).
