Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Powell Panthers (Powell, TN) and the visiting Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN), observed Powell's volleyball team top Campbell County by a count of 3-0.

The Panthers (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN). The Lions come into the non-league bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, Lakeway Christian Academy defeated Berean Christian (Knoxville, TN), 3-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, Campbell County drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Karns (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Beavers in a AAA District 3 bout on Thursday, September 19. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 0-8. Karns lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Clinton (Clinton, TN)
