Next up, the Flame confront the Waterloo Cougars (Waterloo, AL) in a 1A Area 16 game, on Thursday, September 19. Shoals Christian will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 4-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wilson (Florence, AL).

The Indians (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Waterloo (Waterloo, AL). The Cougars enter the 1A Area 16 challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Waterloo was beaten by Loretto (Loretto, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
