Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) and the host Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY), observed Owensboro's volleyball team top Daviess County by a tally of 3-0.

The Red Devils (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, McLean County was beaten by Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 19. Daviess County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Fighting Tigers enter the contest with a 10-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY).
