In Tuesday's league challenge, the host New Boston Lions volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the De Kalb Bears.

The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Leopards come into the 3A Region II District 14 challenge with a 3-17 record. In their last challenge, Liberty-Eylau was nudged by Queen City (Queen City, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge, on Friday, September 20. De Kalb will attempt to upgrade on its 13-13 season record. The Rabbits come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Hooks (Hooks, TX).
