In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sioux Valley Cossacks volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the DeSmet Bulldogs.

The Cossacks (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Preston (Lake Preston, SD). The Divers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Preston was beaten by Deuel (Clear Lake, SD), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. DeSmet will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Elks enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, SD).
