North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Wake Academy overwhelmed by Falls Lake

September 17, 2024: Creedmoor, NC 27522

The Falls Lake Firebirds topped the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Firebirds confront the Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A game, on Monday, September 23. Falls Lake will attempt to advance on its 14-2 season record. The Raptors go into the game with a 5-10 record after their 3-2 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC).

The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their game against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns go into the Super Six 1A/2A game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, NCSSM: Durham gained a win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
