North Carolina High School Volleyball - Franklinton tips Southern Nash

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC) and the host Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC), observed Franklinton's volleyball team hold off Southern Nash by a count of 3-2.

The Rams (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC). The Yellowjackets enter the The Big East 2A/3A contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Roanoke Rapids was tipped by Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Firebirds battle the Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) in a The Big East 2A/3A contest, on Thursday, September 19. Southern Nash will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC).
