The Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Honaker for a Hogoheegee bout on Tuesday, September 24. Rural Retreat will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Council (Council, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Grayson County drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a Mountain Empire bout on Thursday, September 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Auburn won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA)
