Nebraska High School Volleyball - Gretna East tips Pius X

September 17, 2024: Lincoln, NE 68510

The Gretna East Griffins volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Pius X Thunderbolts to 2 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Griffins now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Hastings for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 19. Gretna East will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Minden (Minden, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Pius X drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Fremont (Fremont, NE) to play the Tigers in a A District outing on Thursday, September 19. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 15-2. Fremont won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)
