In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Kingsford Flivvers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Menominee Maroons.

The Flivvers (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Redmen come into the Big North challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Marquette was beaten by Calumet (Calumet, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Maroons meet the Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Menominee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Modeltowners come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Manistique (Manistique, MI).
