Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Leflore County improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to O'Bannon (Greenville, MS) to face the Greenwaves in a Class 2A Region 3 test on Wednesday, September 18. The Greenwaves go into the test with a record of 4-2.

The Gators now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Bannon for a Class 2A Region 3 test on Thursday, September 19. North Side will face a Greenwaves squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Leflore County (Itta Bena, MS). The Greenwaves record now stands at 4-4.
