The Linganore Lancers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Manchester Valley Mavericks to 2 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lancers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Governor Thomas Johnson for a MVAL - Piedmont outing on Thursday, September 19. Linganore will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Catoctin (Thurmont, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Manchester Valley drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Westminster (Westminster, MD) to play the Owls in a MVAL - Chesapeake outing on Thursday, September 19. The Owls come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Westminster lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Dulaney (Timonium, MD)
